This year Lisa is working on becoming a better person. A much nicer person, someone who is more mindful of her thoughts, feelings, and actions.
So with that being said, I (Lisa) will be working on certain Bucket List items to complete this year. First I will be looking for a homeless shelter & a crisis center to volunteer for. With these two services I am hoping they will help me complete my 'make a difference in someones life' goal. Maybe, maybe not. Second I am already working on meditating at least once a day, including some yoga. I have been making the last 30 minutes of my day ME TIME. 15 minutes of writing in my journals, 15 minutes of yoga/ mediation. Then its off to bed. I have not yet perfected the write every night, but I am getting there. Some nights I just do some yoga and try to calm my mind before I sleep. I have noticed that writing can calm me a bit as well. With knowing that now I can use it as motivation to keep writing everyday.
So lets list what I will accomplish this year.
1. Volunteer at a homeless shelter
2. Volunteer at a crisis center
3. Meditate
4. Write in a journal everyday
5. Make a difference in someones life (maybe)
That is all I have to say for now.
